Surely we can get a call back about our issue? We rented a car on the 23rd of December which was not supplied to us as arranged. Our flight was late and their procedures let them down. Us and another family left stranded. Despite repeated attempts to have this matter rectified with their management team via email, including compensation for the Ubers I had to take to and from the accomodation in Auckland and the extra day rental that we could not use because they forgot to supply our car we are still to talk to an actual human being. Id suggest that you be very careful renting a car here. Maybe we are the exception rather than the rule but Im judging them on how theyve handled my problem and they have handled it in a very poor manner. These guys are owned by Avis but they certainly dont have the care and attention to detail that Avis have.

I was deeply touched by hospitality after a long drive from Roturua. Mr. Salish Kumar was extremely helpful to a tourist who came to Auckland for the first time. I will definitely use Apex again.

Despite reading some negative comments posted online I decided to go with Apex car rental for my three weeks road trip in this beautiful country. It was the right decision. We were concerned with driving in the winter, especially on snow covered roads up in the mountain pass. The staff was really helpful in addressing our concert. Picking up our car from the Auckland Apex garage and returning it at Queenstown Airport was a breeze and hassle free.
