        Train drops you off, tosses out your luggage and leaves. No wifi in the area. Its a bit of a walk to anywhere. Cabs are few and far between and we were warned on the train most are trying to rip you off. Make sure you arrange a way out of this parking lot drop off before you leave Wellington.

        27/01/2023 around 17:00 completed the return trip from Rotokauri (The Base) in Hamilton, we got off the train and basically crammed into the small shelter available waiting for an Uber.. after 10min we got asked to jump back on the train cause a storm was lashing Auckland CBD at the time (shown in video) until our ride arrived.. there isn't much shelter and thank goodness for the train blocking most of the weather.. the walk from The Strand to CBD is quite a walk away with no shelter so be prepared in stormy weather.. Uber isn't too bad maybe $10.. if you want to go to Britomart then it would be best to get off at Puhinui and catch a local AT HOP train
