On the day of my childs appointment I received a call from Ear Health to change the appointment to an earlier time for some unknown reason. Because my child's ears were getting worse and in pain I immediately dropped everything and took the rest of the day off work and drove 1.5hrs from our rural location to make sure we got there on time, but because of roadworks I was 15mins late. When I arrived at 12noon the clinic was closed and no-one was there. I called the contact phone number it went through to a central booking service who said the nurse must have finished for the day and that there was nothing they could do about it. I felt like they didn't care about me or my child. A complete waste of my day, my child still has blocked ears and 3 hours driving on a windy road for nothing.
