Northland Spars and Rigging

Maybe Nsr thinks all yachties that travel to Nz are rich, but this is not our case. We gave a traveller of the main sail to them so they could rebuild the car, the job was well done, but our surprise was the bill, $1400, they even charge us for the time we went to the workshop and were explaining the problem to them. Sailing and living onboard, with that amount is way more than the budget we had for the whole month. So if you want to save so money, I think there are other riggers south of Opua, the price in Nsr is way out of this orbite. It was our mistake, not asking how much could it cost . Marc

Staff are everything to a business and NSR have a few excellent people. I purchased some new wire there and despite not being a "large" customer, I was treated well and given good advice.
