Avis Car Rental Queenstown

I rented a car a few weeks back. I was served by Martyn from Portsmouth, UK. He was so so helpful, friendly and diligent throughout my dealings with him. Initially there were some issues with the system accepting my payment and charging the correct number. Martin allowed me to hotspot his WiFi so I could check my account and called his boss who was able to manually over ride the system error. Also, I had never driven an automatic car before and was extremely nervous about it. Martin sat into the car with me and showed me the ropes which really put me at ease, especially as I was travelling alone and therefore the sole driver of the vehicle. This was certainly beyond his job description, but these are the things that make a huge difference to customers like myself on the ground. Thank you so much Martyn!

Book just the car online, all the extras and add-ons (additional driver, excess insurance) are all cheaper in person. Bit disappointed that booking in advance online is actually more expensive..

Quick and easy to pick up the car. The car was in pretty good condition and the baby car seat was installed before we arrived. Great service. Easy to call and the team was responsive to answer any queries.

Very easy drop of at Queenstown Airport. Just left keys in a small shed at the Avis drop off area. Just a very short walk from the terminal building.
