Punakaiki Escapes

We had an excellent time in the Seascapes house, back in July. We arrived to typically wet , West Coast weather so spent some time in the warm house, playing games and attempting to play the piano - Kitchen well set for cooking in the house, or there's a pub just up the road. The house has an incredible view of the water, and the sunset in particular was stunning. Great location for the pancake rocks, and less than 5 minutes from the glow worm caves. Helpful hosts as well. Great stay.

We had a great time staying in two houses run by Punakaiki Escapes before and after walking the Paparoa Track at Easter. The houses were both very comfortable and well appointed and good for larger groups of whnau and friends. One of the houses, had such an amazing view of the sea and beach. But the other was only metres walk away. Both houses within walking distance of the local pub and food truck in the campground - I ate my fill of whitebait. lots of things to do close by and within driving distance. Highly recommend the house and the friendly service.

A beautifully appointed house among the trees. A unique reflection of this very special part of the world. Fantastic location among the nikau palms and birds. A great kitchen with everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable beds. Loved the log burner. Big deck and barbecue. We stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed longer. There is so much to do in this area. Lots of information at our house about the area. Thanks so much Jed!

We had a great stay here - we stayed in the Cliffscapes house, right next to the camping ground and beach, and only 10-15 mins walk from Punakaiki. It was fab, highly recommend.
